SKP Joinery is Sean Parr — a time-served joiner who has been working on tools across St Helens and the North West since 2001. Sean started his apprenticeship straight from school, spent his twenties and thirties on new-build sites and in established joinery shops, and set up SKP Joinery to do things a different way: one joiner, one point of contact, from the first phone call to the last coat of varnish.

There's no call centre, no rotating team of subcontractors, and no salesman standing between you and the person actually doing the work. Sean quotes the job, agrees a fixed price, does the work himself (bringing in trusted local trades only where a job genuinely needs them — plastering, electrics, plumbing), and hands you the keys when it's finished to the standard he'd want in his own house.

Twenty-five years in, the bulk of SKP Joinery's work comes from repeat customers and word of mouth across St Helens, Rainhill, Prescot, Eccleston, Billinge and the surrounding towns. That reputation is the whole business model: turn up when you say you will, keep the site clean, price it honestly, and make sure the finished job still looks right in ten years.
